Crystal Reports Viewer Windows 7

 admin

We use an ERP/CRM system called Vantage (by Epicor) and this uses Crystal Reports for all kinds of things.

Crystal Report Activex Viewer Control Windows 7

Crystal desk is probably the best crystal reports viewer software available today. It is possible to download a 15 day trail for this splendid software. You can save, take print, or attach the file directly to your e-mail, using this software. Use SAP Crystal Reports Viewer to drill-down, sort, filter, highlight, search, print and export from a file with the data saved in it. Take advantage of a read-only report file format to exchange key findings without losing ownership of report design or integrity. Simplify your ability to share reports with co-workers, customers, and vendors.

When users with Windows 7 Professional tried to view a report generated using Crystal, the report would display inside a Vantage window for less than a second, then crash. This behaviour didn't happen on Windows Vista, it only started on Windows 7.

The solution to this for us was to install and run 'Crystal Reports XI R2 .net 1.1 runtime' which we got from the Epicor website.

PM me if you'd like a link to this to try.

C self extracting exe for mac. But why do that each time? What we can do is make a command file and just edit/run that file when you want to make your self-extracting exe. You'll see what I mean soon.Open NotepadType the following:@echo offcopy /b 7zSD.sfx + 7config.txt + InstallMyFiles.7z InstallMyFiles.exeecho.pauseSave the file as 7makeEXE.cmd to the MyProject folder you created earlier. Now inside your MyProject folder you should have the following files:7zSD.sfx7config.txt7makeEXE.cmdNow all we need are the files you want to include in the installation package itself. !@Install@!UTF-8!GUIFlags='8+64+4096'BeginPrompt=' 'ExtractPathText='Extract to:'InstallPath='C:MyFiles'FinishMessage='Finished';!@InstallEnd@!Save the file as 7config.txt to the MyProject folder you created before. To create the self-extracting exe we will need to type a command at the command prompt (CMD).
